Snowstorm Threatens the Life of those Affected by Sandy

New York and a large parte of the northeast of the United States ended submerged in a strong snowstorm that reached the region when it was still recovering from the devastation caused by hurricane Sandy.
The snowstorm, which arrived earlier in the winter, left more than 30 centimetres of snow in zones like Connecticut, it also caused winds of up to 80kmh that caused the destruction of 30,000 homes and left without power several businesses.
‘God Hates Us!’ was the headline of the New York Post, due to the 8 and 15 snow centimetres that fell in the city. The famous city distributed, heated stoves and blankets to the residents that did not have energy, it also opened shelters to the people that need a worm place to sleep. The public transportation was once again affected by the snowstorm and its services were interrupted. AV
