The end of health cards’ renewal to illegal immigrants has been rejected by many social groups and doctors, who said they will continue to serve patients who remain outside the system.

Government spokeswoman, Soraya Saenz de Santamaria, explained that the attention will be restricted to illegal immigrants who will now have a “right to health care only in emergencies”. MZ
