Strauss-Kahn’s DNA samples were Found on the Maid’s Cloth

Posted On 23 May 2011

U.S. television channels NBC and ABC announced today that there were found DNA samples from Dominique Strauss-Kahn, former head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), in the Hotel Sofitel maid’s clothes, who accused him of sexual assault and attempted rape.

This morning, the spokesman for the Prosecutor, Erin Duggan said they would not process information before and maintained its position in the afternoon.

The results of the DNA analysis extracted from the clothing of the alleged victim were expected early this week.

NBC information indicates that Strauss-Kahn’s semen was found on the neck of the blouse of the hotel employee, whose identity is a secret. The analysis will confirm whether or not there was sexual intercourse, although evidence of the existence of violence is more difficult to make, experts stress.
