Posted On 21 Apr 2014
This Monday 21, social organizations and GLBTI (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex) will submit to the Superintendency of Communication(Supercom) a legal complaint against the national television programs: Mi recinto, Vivos, La pareja feliz and En carne propia. The complaint is directed against the actors David Reinoso, Flor María Palomeque, Víctor Aráuz, Fernando Villarroel, and the program by the journalist José Delgado.
Organizations are based on `several studies show how comic programs are part of the influence of acts of stigma and discrimination to women, Afro-americans, indigenous, country people, GLBTI, etc.”.
For this reason, on the basis of the studies that will be presented, organizations expect the Supercom adjusts the mentioned programs. The complaint will be also presented to the Ombudsman.
