Texas A&M Shootout Left Three Dead
The recent shootout incident in the Texas A&M University left three dead including the alleged gunman. The police identified the shooter as Thomas Alton Caffall, 35, who opened fire on County Constable Brian Bachmann, 41.
A gunfight erupted quickly afterwards it left Bachman, Caffall and another man dead near Texas A&M University on last Monday. The crossfire encounter lasted for 30 minutes in College Station, Texas around 12:45 pm (GMT).
The shootout occurred after Caffall shot down Bachmann who was trying to serve him an eviction notice, the attacker was finally shot down by a SWAT officer. Rigo Cisneros, a former Army medic and neighbor tried to revive Bachmann with CPR, but the Constable was dead already. When Cisneros approached Caffall to attend his wounds ‘he looked at him and asked to apologize to the officer that was shot.’
When the police arrived to the crime scene they found Bachmann dead and Caffall died shortly after been taken away by the paramedics. AV
