The National Electoral Council (CNE) has the promotion strategies ready for the 43 candidates to be members of the Council for Citizen Participation and Social Control.
The organism informed that it will destine $ 4.5 million to promote them, and according to the programmed thing, each applicant will have 140 spots of exhibition in television and 1,468 wedges in radio.
Additionally, candidates will have 30 seconds to promote themselves, of which in 20 seconds they must say their name, place they occupy on the ballot, trajectory and proposal.
In relation to print or digital media, the candidate’s photograph, name, professional title, career and work plan will be placed.
Yesterday, the CNE plenary planned to meet with the 43 aspirants to explain the development of the campaign, which will begin this Tuesday, February 5.
Meanwhile, in Guayaquil the electoral counselor Jose Cabrera Zurita said that all the provinces sent to Quito the information of the candidates for the sectional elections of March 24, to make the last revision and proceed with the printing of ballots.
He also detailed the functioning of the informed vote platform, which will contain the work plans and personal data of each candidate for dignities. The citizen can access 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
In the case of Guayaquil, only 14 of the 17 applicants are registered on the website and not all of them submit their proposals. Cabrera indicated that the information will be updated. (I)
