The Premier League joined the English Football Association to ask FIFA to analyze the removal of the 2022 World Cup from Qatar, arguing that the climate (hot in the World Cup date) is decisive.

Concerns about having to play in the scorching summer heat in the Persian Gulf and its possible impact on athletes and actors in general of the ecumenical party, have made the recording of the issue on the agenda for the next meeting of the FIFA leadership in October.

Although the English association would be open to accept the global competition to take place in winter, the richest league in world football strongly opposes because it would disturb the regular season from August to May.
