The government will sell a hydroelectric and other assets

With the premise of “transforming the richness of the Ecuadorian people in liquidity,” the government is prepando the sale of various assets and reiterates that others, such as seized TC Television and GamaTV channels, buyers still waiting. So what President Rafael Correa said Saturday in his national 473 bond.

These measures met at a time when the state needs financial resources to address the effects of the earthquake that struck the country on 16 April.

Correa noted that among the assets will sell the government is Sopladora a 487 megawatt hydroelectric plant in which nearly 800 million invested. “It’s almost ready, missing 2%. The investment is nearly 800 million, plus the road are like 900 million dollars,” said the president (I).
