The Measure to end U.S. debt was Approved by Obama
The U.S. president, Barack Obama, issued Tuesday a bipartisan agreement that allows the elevation of the U.S. debt ceiling after the approval made by the Senate this morning by 74 votes in favor to 26 against.
The presidential ratification ends the debt crisis, which threatened USA with the suspension of payments with a plan that guarantees the reduction of the deficit by 2.1 billion over the next decade.
President Barack Obama asked the U.S. Congress to approve pending free trade agreements with Colombia, Panama, and South Korea as soon as the legislature returns in September from its summer recess that will begin this Friday.
A new CNN poll says that 77 percent of Americans believe that legislators and public officials are behaving like “spoiled children” throughout this crisis.
