Ecuadornews:

The post panamax cranes are already on the mainland. DP World Posorja presented yesterday to the Ecuadorian community the equipment, base for the handling of the cargo.
Waiting for the start of operations before the end of the year, the Dubai, European and Ecuadorian capital company has a part of the physical work where the container yards will be.
The administrative buildings are under construction, as are the primary and secondary roads. All this is part of the first phase of the deepwater port.
According to the constructors of the work, the 2,184 reefers are ready, where refrigerated containers are connected. 10 internal cranes are also located in the yards.
It is estimated that the work, in general, has between 80 and 90% progress.
In its first stage, DP World Posorja expects to handle 700 TEUs (used reference measure which means 2o ft containers). (I)
