TV channels broadcast news of the crimes against humanity trial

Ecuadorian news programs have broadcast the news of the crimes against humanity trial in which militaries are accused of torturing members of the guerrilla group Alfaro Vive Carajo (AVC) in 1985.
At the hearing held yesterday attended by former militaries Manuel A., Nelson E., Guillermo R., John V. and Mario A., and other former police agents accused by Luis Vaca, Susana Cajas and Javier Jarrin, members of the disappeared group Alfaro Vive Carajo (AVC), of detaining and torturing them in 1985 for acts of subversion.
