Venezuelan journalists resign Gobovisión over editorial changes
“I present my resignation from today because ‘Globovision’ does not have conditions to make a free press,” said Roberto Giusti, host of analysis show ‘Grado 33’, who along with five other journalists, decided to leave the Venezuelan channel, which was purchased by a group of entrepreneurs from the insurance market, presumably related to the regime of President Nicolas Maduro.

Roberto Giusti: ‘Globovision’ does not have conditions to make a free press.
The sudden constant resignations from ‘Globovision’ began after last Friday, Leopoldo Castillo, one of the most respected journalists in and out of the channel, announced his resignation and the end of his show “Aló Ciudadano’, which he described as a “a battle front against the abuse of power.”
‘Globovision’, which for years maintained an editorial line against Chavez, was the only electronic medium that broadcasted live conferences and rallies of opposition leader Henrique Capriles.
