Where’s Pedro Delgado?
Regarding the whereabouts of former Central Bank president and Trust representative AGD No more impunity, Pedro Delgado, has created several versions, as it was revealed by Expreso newspaper, ranging from who is already at home with his family until he could be arrested.
According to the publication, Delgado traveled on Flight AA932 from Quito and landed in Miami yesterday, at 12:09. However, no one saw him leave, so that journalists and other citizens who were waiting at the airport in that city speculated to have been subjected to any questioning by the Immigration department.
It should be noted that the Ecuadorian president Rafael Correa, made remarks at Guayaquil, that confirmed the journey of his relative, indicating that it was arranged that he did not leave and “show his face,” but this was not achieved because he had a unavoidable commitment in the North American city. The president added the certainty of the prompt return of Delgado after Christmas, pointing out that the proper legal measures will be taken (he did not say which) to bring to the country.
The Expreso newspaper also revealed that the former official has a return ticket dated for January 6, 2013.
