170,820 new doses of Pfizer join the Vaccinate Plan
The Vaccine Plan has 170,820 more doses of the pharmaceutical company Pfizer, which this Tuesday, May 18, arrived at the Mariscal Sucre airport in Quito, according to planning. This batch of vaccines joins the immunization sessions, with which the Ministry of Health (MSP) continues, for the beneficiaries of Phase 1.

In Guayaquil, the Minister of Public Health, Camilo Salinas Ochoa, was present, who verified the development of the process at the Universidad Espíritu Santo (UESS) and learned about the requirements of the elderly. Meanwhile, the Deputy Minister of Comprehensive Care, Salomón Proaño, visited the Nueva Aurora Luz Elena Arismendy Gyneco-Obstetric Hospital, in the capital, where he verified that the day was normal.
According to the Vaccine Plan portal, 1,560,543 doses have been applied nationwide. The executive’s promise is to inoculate 2 million people by May 24.
