2013 Nobel Prizes were delivered

In Sweden was designated the delivery of the 2013 Nobel Prize for medicine and physics, and there is still expectation for the other winners in Chemistry, Literature and Economics, and the renowned Nobel Peace Prize.

This year American scientists James E. Rothman, Randy W. Schekman along with German Thomas C. Südhof were awarded with the Nobel Prize in Medicine for their studies on the transport of molecules within cells , which have been the basis for treatments for diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, tetanus and other diseases.

The Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to the fathers of the so-called “Higgs boson;” British scientist Peter Higgs and Belgian François Englert, were recognised as the discoverers of the ‘God particle’, the key of the understanding of the formation of the Universe .

Today will be known the new winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry , on Thursday 10 the Nobel prize on LIterature, Friday 11 will be the turn to the Nobel Peace Prize, and the final Nobel prize will be Economics, which will be announced on Monday 14 .

The Nobel Prizes will be awarded at a ceremony on December 10 , simultaneously in two cities:  the Peace in Oslo and in Stockholm, the remaining . That day is the anniversary of the death of Alfred Nobel , a scientist who bequeathed these awards which have been delivered since 1901.
