The agents arrested the suspects Nexar Eder Mendoza Zambrano, his son Nexar Ivan Mendoza Giler, Galo Gonzalo Garcia Chila and Eudoro Angulo Curo, to which it was issued a preventive detention order during the indictment hearing yesterday afternoon.
Two of the detainees were captured in the intercepted vehicle, while the other two were captured on two homes located in Nueva Union and Puerto Tizales sectors, in Cojimies.
Members of the Police indicated that inside the homes there were no drugs, but there was evidence that the place served as a collection center. They also revealed that the cocaine might belong to a Mexican cartel.
