Alfonso Harb will sue whoever expelled him from Barcelona

Alfonso Harb, former president of Barcelona, said yesterday that he is analyzing a lawsuit against a group of club members, who in his opinion, manipulated the resolution of the extraordinary general assembly of May 17, when club members such as Harb and former president Eduardo Maruri were removed, after they revised the audit report from the company PKF & CO.

He said he rejected the decision of that assembly, which was manipulated by people who think that by being members, every year they make  trouble inside Barcelona and destroy the assemblies. He avoided giving names, but he explained that in the audit report presented by the committee, there is no observation over his management period (from December 23, 2010 to June 11, 2011).

At that time, he said, he fixed a team with “a terrible economic crisis”, which only had $ 14,759 in a bank account, so, in order to bring up the team, he was forced to borrow money to organize the team.

He said he met with the auditors in January of this year, to present them the documentation during his term, and that supposedly, all doubts were cleared out, so which is why he called the resolution of the assembly as a “persecution” and stated that he will act “without contemplations “against those who try to tarnish his honor.
