23 countries will require Visa to enter Ecuador – August 2019
Ecuador decided to extend its visa application to citizens of 11 countries, mostly from Africa and Asia. In total there will be 23 nations for which such requirement to enter Ecuador.
The visa will be required to citizens of Angola, Cameroon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, India, Iraq, Libya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Syria and Sri Lanka.
The measure was issued by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility and Government, José Valencia and María Paula Romo, respectively, through Interministerial Agreement number 003 archived on Monday, August 12, 2019.
Ecuador does not require the visa requirement for other countries.
In addition to the aforementioned immigration alerts, 11 of those 23 countries require Visa to Ecuadorians.
