Posted On 14 Jul 2014
The pro-Russian separatists operating in eastern Ukraine lost 30 fighters of their ranks during airstrikes on Aleksandrovka by Ukrainian forces.
This was reported this Monday by the Front-east information center spokesman Konstantin Knyrik.
The Ministry of Defence from Kiev confirmed that on Sunday there were five airstrikes. “The enemy suffered heavy losses,” he added. Combat technical equipment was also destroyed.
The pro-Russian forces denied that the Lugansk airport is now under control of Ukrainian troops and said that all attacks were repelled. The separatists also reported continuing fighting in Donetsk.
Lugansk Administration urged the city residents not to take to the streets.
