300 thousand tourists will receive Playas in Carnival

Around 2,000 tourist servers of General Villamil (Playas), integrated by  restaurants owners,sun umbrellas lessors, artisans, vendor partners, among others, are ready to welcome thousands of visitors for Carnival. Most are funded through appropriations.

The hotel industry formed by 68 hotels is also optimistic, because a 90% was reserved until last Tuesday. Based on statistics from previous years, Xavier Cedeño, municipal tourism director, estimated that  300,000 tourists will come for this holiday. Klein Díaz, head of the cooperative of transportation Villamil, assures that  his units and the Posorja units will mobilize about 15,000 travelers.

The municipality of General Villamil has already a program, which will begin on Saturday, 15:00 pm, on the bay, with the Carnival showing carts with fruit of sea topics.
