Posted On 27 Feb 2014

Imagen 2The massive caravan organized by Mayor Jaime Nebot, in gratitude for the support of Guayaquil people at the polls, departed from Barcelona Avenue at 17H00 up to “9 de Octubre” Avenue and Malecon Simon Bolivar.

The followers of the reelected mayor had gathered early in the evening.  With the accompaniment of fireworks and the musical theme Guayaquileño madera de guerrero,  the mayor reached the centrally located avenue at 19:30.

Giving a short speech, he thanked the thousands of citizens who gave him their votes in recent elections and assured that he will continue the work he has been developing during the last years in the Guayaquil Municipality for people.

“Three words: I love you. four other words: I defend you all. Three other words: Until death Guayaquil ,” it was the final phrase that the mayor of Guayaquil enunciated in concluding his participation.
