31 finalists in the Green Latin Awards

Thirty-one environmental projects in 10 categories are the finalists of the fourth edition of the Latin American Green Awards that tomorrow, in the evening, will announce the winners. The event was presented yesterday in Hilton Colon Guayaquil Hotel with the presentation of the 500 best initiatives, out of 2,409 registered in the contest from 36 countries (679 cities).
Among the 31 finalists, there are three Ecuadorian projects. The Use of the Raquis Fibers of the banana tree in the manufacture of concrete project is included in the Responsible Production and Consumption category. The awards are an initiative of the Environmental Consultant Sambito, the Municipality of Guayaquil, and the CAF-Latin American Development Bank. (I)
