They also detailed the vaccination data:
“This vaccination is carried out after an agreement signed between the Municipality of Guayaquil and the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) by which the latter entity provides the vaccines and the list of beneficiaries, while the Mayor’s Office provides the logistics part of the process, supplies and personnel ”, they indicated in a statement. In addition, they highlighted that only in the last week, Guayaquil managed to inoculate 12,048 citizens.
Likewise, they specified the doses used by vaccination center:
– Bolivarian Technical Institute (ITB): 10,791
– Ecotec: 8,678
– Much Lot: 7,816
– Solca: 4,239
For the logistics of vaccination, the authorities allocated to:
– ITB: 100 typists and 50 vaccinators
– Solca: 20 typists and 10 vaccinators
– Ecotec: 100 typists and 50 vaccinators
– Much Lot: 100 data entry operators and 50 vaccinators
According to information from the Municipality of Guayaquil, the capacity of each of the municipal vaccination centers is 67,200 people. This with the exception of Solca, where the maximum coverage is 13,440 per month.
“In other words, if the municipal vaccination centers work at full capacity, 7 days a week, they would reach a total of 215,040 beneficiaries per month,” the authorities indicated. However, reaching the maximum goal is closely linked to the number of doses that the MSP is able to assign to each of the sites.
Last Sunday, the council summoned 4,100 front-line people. “It is important to point out that on Monday, May 3, the operation of the vaccination centers with municipal officials in the 4 precincts is restored,” they explained in the statement.
