4 suspects arrested for the disappearance of 43 young students in Mexico
On Monday, Mexican authorities made a significant progress in the investigation of the disappearance of 43 students in Iguala, by stopping 4 alleged perpetrators.
Mexican prosecutor Jesus Murillo, announced that two of those arrested have confessed that “were given a large group of people”, while the two others confessed to having participated as watchmen on the night of September 26.
The four captured, members of the Guerreros Unidos cartel, are added to the 52 arrested in connection with the case, including police and officials from the municipalities of Iguala and Cocula as well as members of the cartel, including its leader.
At the time a strong police operation is being performed in an area located 10 kilometers from Cocula, half an hour from the city of Iguala, where 43 students were arrested by police and handed over to the cartel.
