40,000 women will receive scholarships in higher education
The president, Daniel Noboa, announced that 40,000 women are part of the ‘Futuro Femenino’ higher education scholarship program . Its objective is to guarantee the right to quality higher education for women, especially those in vulnerable situations.

The National Government will provide a total of 100,000 scholarships from different programs.
These scholarships prioritize women with disabilities, victims of gender violence, people in situations of limited resources, Ecuadorians returning from abroad and peoples and nationalities.
“To all those who ever wanted an opportunity and were denied. We are changing history, the constant relegation of women. That will no longer happen in this country that we are building, in this New Ecuador,” said Noboa.
The Secretary of Higher Education, César Vásquez, was also present at this presentation . He added that “the goal was met. This program has a name, it has a dream. “We have prioritized these four provinces, but there are many more programs.”
The Government plans to award a total of 100,000 scholarships this year. In addition, it will cover 100% of tuition costs and other expenses related to technical and technological careers. This plan seeks to reduce inequalities in the educational system and provide new opportunities for women.
