43% of exports went to the United States

According to statistics from the Central Bank of Ecuador (BCE), the United States is still the primary customer of Ecuador. And it bought, in the first quarter of 2015, 43% of the export basket of the country.

The US bought 2.203 million dollars in the first three months of the year, this country imported 1,232 million dollars, generating a surplus of 971 million dollars, which favors the Ecuadorian balance.
