6.3 Earthquake Shakes the Indonesian coast

This morning, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake measuring 6.3 degrees on the Richter scale occurred on the east coast of Indonesia. No tsunami warning was issued.

The quake hit about 140 kilometers southeast of Ambon city at a depth of 35 kilometers. So far, there has been no reports of casualties or damage.
