63.4% of new tickets for Brazil World Cup were sold by FIFA

FIFA sold in just four hours 63.6 percent of the 199,519 new tickets for 54 of the 64 matches of the 2014 World Cup, which were offered starting from today on its website, in the last phase of internet sales.
Of the 126,837 tickets sold in scant four hours, 80,496, the equivalent to 63.4%, were purchased by residents fans of Brazil, according to a statement released by FIFA.
The other 46,341 tickets were reserved by residents of other countries.
The ten countries that purchased the most tickets for this new phase of sales are, in order: Brazil, USA, Colombia, Argentina, Germany, Mexico, France, England, Chile and Australia.
