Barcelona and Emelec Prepare for the Derby Date

Just one-day from the expected so called “shipyard classic match” in Guayaquil (Ecuador), Barcelona Sporting Club and the Club Sport Emelec are getting prepared for the eighteenth meeting date of the 2nd stage of the National Soccer Championship.

This meeting will be the last opportunity for Barcelona team to score points in order to have a spot in the Copa Libertadores 2012, after being defeated in their last three dates.

Meanwhile the electric set Emelec, leader of the standings of the tournament, continues to struggle to repeat the previous feat they did in order to achieve leadership in this second phase, which currently belongs to Deportivo Quito.
