Chavez Goes to Cuba for Chemotherapy

Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez, informed that he will fly to Cuba to start with his radiation therapy one month after undergoing a surgery to had a cancerous tumor removed.
Last Saturday Chavez said in a televised meeting with aides, “Tonight, I’m leaving for La Habana.” Chavez’s trip to Cuba will coincide with that of the Pope Benedict XVI, who would arrive on the island on Monday.
“I’ve decided, on the recommendation of my medical team and also my government political team, to begin now, as we’re going to begin on Sunday, radiation therapy treatment,” added the Venezuelan Leader.
