The Transit Commission of Ecuador (CTE for its Spanish acronym) placed 83 speeding and 10 radar-warning signs along the Narcisa de Jesus road, to punish drivers who violate the law.

Hector Solorzano, CEO of the CTE, announced last Thursday that the controls would start on the Narcisa de Jesus highway on Monday, September 17, however, a day later, in a statement, the entity postponed for today.

Since last August 23, elements of the institution make operatives in several cities. In Guayaquil there are operatives in the Perimetral road and in the road to the coast, but due to issues of signage, the operatives in cities begin today.

Here is a reminder of the moderate ranges:

For the 50 km / h limit, the moderate range is 51 to 60 km / h.

For the 90 km / h limit, the moderate range is from 91 to 120 km / h.

For the 70 km / h limit, the moderate range is 71 to 100 km / h.

It should be noted that the moderate ranges were not included in the CTE warning signs. (MZ)
