Nicolas Maduro blames “Capitalism” for the violence in Venezuela.

“We should go to the root of the problem and the root are the values of capitalist consumerism. Some may think is foolish but it’s the awful truth,” said the president-candidate.

“Soon we will be approving the Disarmament Act in the National Assembly, but the first disarmament that we have to do is to the negative values of capitalism,” said Maduro, who also noted that “without a popular movement, there can never be peace.”

Finally he said that 1 in 7 homicides have occurred in Miranda, the state where Henrique Capriles is governor.
