Obama puts pressure to The Congress to pass immigration reform
Posted On 14 Jul 2013

Yesterday, U.S. President urged the Congress to act quickly and approve a reform to modernize the immigration system and strengthen the economy.
Obama stressed that the amendment approved by the Senate last month will help the economic growth, strengthen the Social Security system and modernize the visa system, and now it’s the turn of the House of Representatives, under Republican control.
“If the House of Representatives acts, I will enact a common sense immigration reform,” Obama said, and urged the public to pressure lawmakers.
The legislation, approved on June 27, includes a plan of $46,000 million to stop the illegal migration of people and could allow the legalization of about 11 million illegal immigrants living in the United States.
