Ten Peruvian franchises are offered in Ecuador
A trade mission from Peru visited Ecuador this week to promote 10 gastronomic franchises to local entrepreneurs.
The presentation of the companies was held yesterday at the Dann Carlton hotel, where seafood, ice drinks, chicken, sandwiches and ceviche companies attended the event.
David Edery, Promperu Export Promotion CEO (Promotion Comission of Peru for the exportation and tourism), said that the franchises range from $ 15 thousand and $ 350 thousand, representing a total investment of $ 1.8 million.
Elizabeth Astete, Ambassador of Peru in Ecuador, expects that resolution 116 of the Committee of Foreign Trade (Comex for its Spanish acronym), which since 2013 includes new controls on the importation of products, does not affect the application of the franchises. “We are talking to the Ecuadorian authorities to seek a solution for the problems that have arisen,” she said.
