Robin Williams passes away

he American actor Robin Williams was found dead in his apartment yesterday. Williams, 63, committed suicide because of problems related to his alcohol addiction and severe depression, according to his publicist Mara Buxbaum.

Robin McLaurin Williams was born on July 21, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois. He studied drama at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York, with Christopher Reeve, the famous Superman. Known for his charisma, Williams had the ingenious ability to do all sorts of roles, from comedy to the deepest.

Winner of the Oscar for Good Will Hunting (1997), the actor is also known for starring in such films as “Mrs. Doubtfire ,” “What dreams may come” and “Jumanji”.
