Paris City Council proposes `Selfies’ `instead of love locks

The Paris City Hall has decided to undertake a new initiative to end with ” love padloks,” which threaten to destroy the bridge structures where these padlocks are placed. This fashion has become viral, thousands of tourists who visit the “City of Lights” place padlocks on the bridges in order to immortalize their love.

The new alternative proposes to publish `Selfies´ in the website lovewithoutlocks.fr or on Twitter under the hashtag #lovewithoutlocks, this, in an attempt to raise awareness that structures no longer support the weight of the padlocks.
