Delltex investment reaches $ 6 million over 5 years

The export of 32,000 meters of fabric for the production of 10,700 uniforms for the Colombian National Army and blankets for the hypermarkets of the Bolivian chain Ketal in La Paz are some of the businesses the local company Delltex has materialized this year. And  Peru is another market.

Delltex commercial manager David Dueñas says that 30% of the total production goes to these countries, whose monthly average is over 100,000 kilos of yarns, 50,000 meters of fabrics and about 40,000 blankets. The average monthly export of the company represents $ 300,000.

The company is holding talks with the United States, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina for exportation. Argentina one of the countries where they obtain their inputs, along with Germany, South Korea, Turkey, Peru, and China.

Dueñas says that in the last 5 years, the company has invested nearly $ 6 million in innovation and new machines to improve its production with the aim of being regional leaders by 2020. (I)
