The Prosecutor’s Office denounces death threats against Prosecutor Diana Salazar

The Ecuadorian Prosecutor’s Office rejected the threats against Prosecutor Diana Salazar, who has followed cases such as the FIFA-Gate and the Odebrecht corruption plot, which investigates vice president Jorge Glas, currently imprisoned.

The State Attorney General’s Office, reported today that Salazar has received death threats and showed a video in which the self-proclaimed Popular Liberation Front announces possible attacks against the law agent.

For his part, Interior Minister César Navas said that security measures will be strengthened to protect the integrity of Salazar and her family. (I)
