Nathaly’s parents arrive in Peru to help in her search
Ecuadornews:

Alejandra Ayala and Marcelo Salazar, parents of Nathaly Sara, 28, arrived yesterday to Lima, Peru, to go immediately to Cuzco, and get in touch with the diplomatic and police authorities who undertook the search in the Maras Moray ruins.
Her sister Tamara explained to the EFE agency that her parents were received by staff from the Spanish embassy in Peru. The girl’s family lost contact when she left the Imperial City and went to the archaeological site Maras Moray, located in the province of Urubamba, according to the Spanish newspaper Las Provincias.
Nathaly was staying at the Pariwana hostel in Cuzco, since December 28 last year. The Salazar family stated that the girl’s cell phone is off or out of coverage. In addition, they indicated that the last use of her WhatsApp account is set at 7:00 p.m. on January 2.
It was reported that the Pariwana hostel reported the disappearance of Nathaly Salazar in the Criminal Investigation Department of the Cuzco Police.
Tamara said that so far the only tracks of her sister are the images of the hostel’s cameras from where he left on January 2, first thing in the morning. However, she said that they are pushing for other cameras, shops or the bus terminal to be checked to see if she picked up another vehicle: “You have to collect all the clues you can”. “We keep the hope open, that’s the main thing,” said Tamara, who thinks her sister may have suffered an accident and prevented her from communicating with them and that some indigenous community takes care of her in a place without telephone coverage.
These hypotheses are what the authorities investigate, they even use trained dogs in search of people in the mountains.
Two months ago, Nathaly began her tourist trip through Ecuador, was in her native Quito, then in Guayaquil, advanced to Peru, where she visited Piura, Cuzco; and planned to go to Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. (I)
