Ecuadorian Chef Néstor Toapanta will seek a place for world competition

Ecuador chose its delegation to participate in the Latin American semifinals of the Bocuse d’Or World Cooking Contest, which will take place in April in Mexico.
Chef Néstor Toapanta and his assistant Iván Salazar will go to that appointment. This selection was made over the weekend at the facilities of the San Francisco University of Quito, with the participation of Dayane Arroyo, Felipe Jimbo, Néstor Toapanta and Xavier Jarrín.
This duo will travel to the Mexican capital with the slogan of seeking a place to participate in the final of the Bocuse d’Or World Cooking Competition in Lyon, France.
Through a statement, the Ministry of Tourism said that in the selection event was the Undersecretary of Markets of the Ministry of Tourism, Aldo Luzi, prominent chefs of the country, academic authorities and special guests of the industry.
The Academie Culinaire de France chapter Ecuador and the San Francisco University of Quito were coordinating the event, which was endorsed by the National Federation of Provincial Tourism Chambers, Fenacaptur; Provincial Chamber of Tourism, Captur; Hotel Federation of Ecuador Ahotec, Taste Ecuador and other entities.
