Board dismissed the Superintendent of Companies

The Council of Citizen Participation and Transitory Social Control (CPCCST) ceased the functions of the Superintendent of Companies, Securities and Insurance, Suad Manzur, after a plenary resolution on the afternoon of this Monday, July 30.
Manzur may appeal to the review resource within 3 days. The resolution indicates that the authorities could not distort the evaluation reports in any of the stages of the process. Likewise, the full Council of Citizen Participation and Transitory Social Control (CPCCST) decided to ratify the dismissal of the Superintendent of Banks, Christian Cruz.
The CPCCST will announce next Wednesday the person who will be in charge of the Super of Banks until the contest to choose the final one. The organism had planned to resolve the challenges sent by 4 of the 5 members of the National Electoral Council (CNE), but they suspended the session due to agenda issues before issuing the result that is already ready.
The agency has so far evaluated the Superintendents of Banks, Companies, in addition to the 5 members of the Judiciary and the 5 members of the National Electoral Council, all dismissed from office for failing to comply with the parameters analyzed. In the same way they proceeded with the ex-Defender of the Town, Ramiro Rivadeneira, who refused to present the documentation requested by the CPCCST, which led to the direct dismissal.
At the moment the evaluation of the 9 magistrates of the Constitutional Court, the 5 judges of the Contentious Electoral Tribunal and the Superintendent of Territorial Planning, Fernando Cordero is in process.
The only authority that has not been subjected to the scrutiny is the public defender, Ernesto Pazmiño, who has extended functions. In the session, the counselors also reviewed the challenges filed against Margarita Hernández Naranjo, candidate for Superintendent of Popular Economy, and David Sperber Vilhelm, candidate for Superintendent of Market Power Control.
Both headed what was sent by the Executive for each position and were the only ones that passed the scrutiny made by a technical commission, which disqualified the other 4 participants for failing to meet requirements. (I)
