In a single portal, the National Directorate of Public Data Registry (Dinardap) grouped the personal information of each citizen. Safe Data is called the service that allows the consultation of information from public entities without the need to approach an office to obtain information.

After the disclosure of databases in recent months, citizens expressed concern about what type of information private agencies handled. Names, financial information and civil identity data of about 17 million people, including 6.7 million children were exposed in an insecure cloud that almost any user could access.
This portal was launched in 2014 and sought to coordinate the exchange of information on public data records and verify personal data. This reduced the time it took the user to know this information, four years later it changed its interface.
According to information on the Dinardap website, the creation of this space is contemplated in article 18 of the Constitution that contemplates the right of all persons to access the information generated in public or private institutions that manage public funds or Perform public functions. As well as article 66 guarantees the right to personal data protection, “which includes access and decision on information and data of this nature, as well as their corresponding protection”.
The Law of the National System of Public Data Registry states in its article 13 that those of the Civil, Property, Commercial, Corporate, Vehicle, Ship and Aircraft, patents, intellectual property and public data are currently public data. or in the future determine the National Directorate of Public Data Registry, within the framework of the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic and the laws in force.

To access this portal you must first register.
- Enter the website www.datoseguros.gob.ec
- Click Register Here and enter your ID number.
- Fill out the form with the information requested.
- Validate the letters and numbers requested
- Read the terms of service and if you agree, accept, confirm your registration.
- An email will arrive with a temporary password.
- On the System Login screen, enter your ID number and your temporary password.
- You will be asked to change it, after this you must select the security questions and answer them.
