A study reveals the buying habits of Internet users in Ecuador

Clothing is the most purchased online. And men aged 26 to 33 are the ones who buy clothes the most, according to the first study of electronic consumer behavior in the country, an initiative of the Ecuadorian Chamber of Electronic Commerce (CECE for its Spanish acronym), presented at the seventh edition of E-commerce Day Ecuador, held yesterday.
The research was conducted between August and September of this year to 1,284 people who reside in the country and who have made at least one online purchase in the last three months.
Another result of the study is that a 92% carry out online day transactions, such as purchasing products and services, banking transactions, and searching for information. 76% buy in foreign websites and 54% in local websites. (I)
