Acer’s new 7-inch Tablet
Laptop producer, Acer launched on the market its own 7-inch Tablet called Icon B1-A71.
Acer joins the market initiated by Samsung in 2011 with its Galaxy Tab 7.7. Apple produced last year the iPad Mini, although Steve Jobs assured it was not going to work.
B1-A71 costs around $150 in the United States, weights less than 320 grams which represents one of the lightest of the market, and the screen sizes a book page.The tablet is based in Android jelly bean, houses a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, and a 7-inch, 1,024×600-pixel screen. It also features 512MB of RAM, 8GB of storage, expansible to 32GB by using as SD card, 3 megapixel front-facing camera, standard audio connector and micro-USB port for tablet access and battery recharge.
The tablet will be available on February 8.
