Piqué confirms that his child will be born today

This morning the Spanish soccer player Gerard Pique, 25, confirmed that today is the day his first child with Colombian singer Shakira will born.

“On Tuesday, our first child will be born,” wrote FC Barcelona player on his Instagram profile, on the forthcoming birth of his firstborn.

The delivery will take place this afternoon at the Teknon clinic in Barcelona where a planned cesarean delivery has been scheduled. It will be attended by the team of Dr. Garcia Valdecasas, who also delivered  the four children of the Infanta Cristina, daughter of the King of Spain.

Meanwhile, Teknon medical center will not give statements about the subjetc and neither confirms nor denies this information, because the family will decide how to communicate the good news, when it occurs.

Accompanying he 35 year old singer are her parents William Mebarak and Nidia Ripoll, and  two of her brothers, since last December.
