A department of EFE reports that in Rome, in front of the Basilica of St. John Lateran, glued on a plate were some posters that read: “In the conclave vote Peter Turkson Appia Kodwo “, and in the same poster was Ghanaian cardinal’s coat of primacy, which will participate in the election of the new Pope.
Experts, even if is a joke, believe that such initiatives could harm the Cardinal in a possible path to the throne of St. Peter.
African Cardinal, 64, heads the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, and is a possible candidate for Pope.
The posters inviting to vote for him, has no responsibles, and are located in the plates that the city settled for the recent Italian elections.
