Agreement defines export of rice

Ecuadornews:

The general manager of the National Storage Unit (UNA EP), Rodrigo Solano, the deputy minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Alexandra Peralta and representatives of the Guayas and Los Ríos rice farms agreed, on Thursday, to export 27,000 tons of paddy or paddy rice.

The meeting also generated three agreements: Free storage spaces in the silos of the plants of the UNA EP of Daule and Babahoyo, which now have a storage capacity of 18,000 t.

Also make viable rice exports and consolidate an exportable supply of other agricultural products to the world. That UNA has liquidity for future purchases from producers, at the fixed price of $ 35.50 per take out of 200 pounds.

The representatives of the batteries agreed to work together.
