Alleged guerrillas surrendered to the Ecuadorian military

Screen Shot 2013-12-29 at 13.32.58Today, six suspected guerrillas belonging to the Daniel Aldana column, from FARC, surrendered to Ecaudorian military forces in San Lorenzo. The militants surrendered their weapons including HK’s rifles, pistols and at least one machine gun.

The suspected rebels claim to be FARC deserters who were sentenced to death in the War Council. Among them are two women, one of them claimed to be pregnant.

Members of the Marine Corps have the alleged guerrillas under custody as well as their weapons.
