Alvaro Noboa Gives his Support to Damian House

Alvaro Noboa attended the 32-years of work of the leprosarium of the Damian House. During his presence Noboa read a passage from the Bible regarding the work of John the Baptist.

Afterwards Alvaro Noboa expressed his joy for the great work that the foundation does and along with his daughter Carla Noboa delivered charity envelopes to celebrate the Christmas spirit.

Damian House is an institution dedicated to the study, treatment and rehabilitation of the people afflicted by the Hansen disease (Leprosy). This foundation has committed itself to offer specialized medical attention. However their work also offers psychological, spiritual and social assistance so that the affected have a dignified treatment and a full life.

Noboa has followed and supported the work of Damian House and for that he ended his visit with a donation so they can continue to work in their honorable labor. (AV)
