Gutemberg Vera filed a criminal complaint against Assemblyman Cesar Montufar
Posted On 28 Dec 2011
Legislator Cesar Montufar, from Concertación Nacional Movement, was sued by the Ecuadorian president’s attorney, Gutemberg Vera.
Vera added that this criminal case does not require the endorsement of the National Assembly, because of the parliamentary immunity that it gives to Montufar, because this sue does not refer to any injury regarding to his duties as legislator.
In past days Montufar said Gutenberg Vera was the one who made the sentence imposed by Judge Juan Paredes to El Universo newspaper.
Montufar bases his accusation in an expert witness report made to Vera’s computer, that according to his opinion, shows that the sentence was not made by Judge Paredes but Correa’s attorney. (BG)
